    99《财富》全球论坛由美国时代华纳集团所属的《财富》杂志主办，于1999年9月27日至29日在上海举行。

    《财富》杂志每年评选世界500家最大的企业，其排行榜有较高的权威性。《财富》杂志利用其影响力举办了一系列的财经论坛，如《财富》500强论坛（首席执行官）、《财富》首席金融官论坛等。1995年起，《财富》杂志又创办了"《财富》全球论坛"，每年在世界上选一个具有吸引力的"热门"地点举行一次，邀请全球跨国公司的董事长、总裁、首席执行官及世界知名的政治家和学者参加，共同探讨全球商界所面临的问题。从一九九五年至今，《财富》杂志已分别在新加坡、西班牙巴塞罗那、泰国曼谷、匈牙利布达佩斯举行了4次年会。
